Now that the weather is cooler we are finally able to add plants to the memorial garden at the VFW Post 1820 in Temple. This garden is to honor all veterans and in memory of Central Texas native Lt. Col. Rodney S. Griffith a true Vietnam War Hero. The dedication ceremony will be Nov 12, 2:00pm 3302 Airport Rd, Temple, TX. The garden is a joint project by the NPSOT Tonkawa Chapter, Temple Garden Club, Betty Martin Chapter DAR, VFW Post 1820, the Griffith, Cabaniss, & Johnson families, Tyler Fletcher, & Miguel Gutierrez.
